Ran-Pro Farms, Inc. is located in Tyler, Texas. Tyler is known as the Rose Capital. Ran-Pro Farms produces a wide variety of container-grown landscaping and patio plants, including roses, ornamental grasses, shade, ornamental, fruit and citrus trees as well as crapemyrtles. Ran-Pro Farms sells wholesale only to the nursery and landscaping industry and to retail marketers. Ran-Pro Farms is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ranch Properties, Inc. and has been in business since 1980.

It is our goal to produce plants for the consumer’s ultimate success and satisfaction. The best way to achieve this is to produce only container-grown plants. A well-developed root system is the key for transplanted material to minimize shock and maintain a healthy, growing plant. Unfortunately, not all plants in containers in the retail setting are container-grown. Some are merely transplanted bare root plants that have not had a chance to become established in the soil therefore represent a lower success rate of transplanting by the consumer. You can tell if a plant has an established root system by removing the container and looking to see if there are sufficient roots (white for new and brown for older roots) from 1/3 to 2/3 up from the bottom of the root ball.

Ran-Pro Farms sells it products based upon an availability of product. Orders for spring can be placed at anytime. Many retailers, to assure their spring needs, will place their bookings during the summer.
